How To Play
- Commencing on or about January 24, 2020 any resident or homeowner of Windsor-Essex, Chatham-Kent, Lambton, Middlesex or Elgin Counties in the Province of Ontario, Canada can enter to win a Free Roof, the Use of a Carpenter, Free Soffit, Fascia and Eavestrough or a Weekly Gift Card by filling out a ballot online (ds60.ca/contest), by email (office@ds60.ca), by paper ballot (mail to 13325 Sylvestre Drive, Windsor, ON N8N 2L9) or by phone (519-979-6827). Diesel Roofing & Siding Inc. O/A DS60, hereafter known as; DS60 Roofing & Siding Inc. (the “Contest Sponsor”); reserves the right to limit one ballot per household except on specially designated “Bonus Ballot” days. These days may be advertised by radio, social media or at particular live events so designated.
- There is no purchase necessary to play. All mail-in ballots must be post marked no later than September 10, 2020. Ballots will be accepted up to the day of the draw, September 12, 2020, at noon, at 13325 Sylvestre Drive, Windsor, Ontario. All ballots will be of equal size and stock weight and will be drawn by an AM800 personality. Ballots drawn for the weekly Gift Card will be re-entered for the Grand Prize draw on September 12, 2020.
- The following prizes are available to be won:
- Two (2) Free Roofs – Maximum Retail Value of $7,500.00 each
- One (1) Use of a Carpenter for 3 Days at No Cost (Materials provided by winner)
- One (1) Soffit, Fascia and Eavestrough Job (Up to 200 linear feet of product)
- Twenty-eight (28) Gift Cards Valued at $50.00 each (Drawn weekly)
- Total retail value of this contest is $27,600.00. The retail values set out above are based on the approximate prize values in Canada at the time of the printing of these rules. All characteristics and features of the prizes, except as otherwise explicitly stated above, will be determined by the Contest Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion. The Contest Sponsor reserves the right to change, amend or substitute without notice, any or all aspects of the Contest Prizing. There is no cash value for any of the prizes and prizes won must be installed at the location described on the ballot. Gift Cards to be redeemed at the merchant indicated.
- Each prize claimant must be a resident of Canada and reside or own property in Windsor-Essex, Chatham-Kent, Lambton, Middlesex or Elgin Counties in the Province of Ontario. To be eligible to claim a prize, prize claimants must have reached the legal age of majority. In the event a person under the legal age of majority receives a winning ballot they are permitted to transfer such ballot to their parent or legal guardian, who will then be the eligible entrant.
- Employees, representatives or agents of; or those domiciled with an employee, representative or agent of DS60 Roofing & Siding Inc. (the “Contest Sponsor”), the PLD Glocal Inc. Group, or any parent or affiliated and related companies, or any consulting, advertising or promotion agencies are NOT eligible to participate nor win a prize in this Contest. The Contest is not open and is considered void where prohibited by law.
- By participating in this Contest, each entrant (and, if a minor, his/her parent or legal guardian) agrees to be bound by these official rules and all decisions of the Contest Sponsor and the independent contest organization, which are final. Without limitation, Contest Sponsor reserves the right to administer an alternate skill-testing question as it deems appropriate to address discrimination or disability issues.
- Prizes must be accepted as awarded and are not convertible to cash by prize claimants. Prizes may not be exactly as shown in promotional materials. In case of unavailability of any prize, to accommodate for a disability, or for any other reason and in Contest Sponsor’s sole discretion, Contest Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any Prize for a prize or cash of equal or greater value.
- Each confirmed winner will be notified by and/or will receive their Prize from the Contest Sponsor. All Prize claims become the property of the Contest Sponsor and no correspondence will be entered into except with potential and confirmed winners. By participating in this Contest, confirmed winners are deemed to have consented to the disclosure of their personal information to Prize suppliers for the limited purpose of delivery of Prizes and, if applicable, registration for warranty purposes. By entering this Contest, each entrant (and, if a minor, his/her parent or legal guardian) expressly consents to Contest Sponsor, its agents and/or representatives, storing, sharing and using the personal information submitted in connection with this contest only for the purpose of administering the contest and in accordance with Contest Sponsor’s privacy policy. This section does not limit any other consent(s) that an individual may provide to the Contest Sponsor or others in relation to the collection, use and/or disclosure of their personal information.
- By claiming a Prize, prize claimants consent to the use of their name and/or photograph, and/or place of residence, without further compensation, in any publicity carried out by the Contest Sponsor in perpetuity and in any media worldwide.
- Contest Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, incomplete, mutilated, misdirected or postage-due ballots.
- By accepting a Prize, winners release DS60 Roofing & Siding Inc. (the “Contest Sponsor”), the PLD Glocal Inc. Group, the Prize suppliers, Prize sponsors, and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents, including, without limitation, their advertising and promotional agencies and the independent contest organizations (“Releasees”), from any and all liability, loss or damage incurred with respect to the awarding, receipt, possession and/or use or misuse of any Prize and acknowledge that the Releasees have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied in fact or in law, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose.
- The Contest Sponsor reserves the right to suspend, cancel or modify the contest at any time, if it determines that for any reason the contest cannot be run as originally planned or for any other occurrence compromising the fairness or integrity of the contest.
- To receive a list of Non-Gift Card Winners, send a postage-paid, self-addressed envelope within 3 months after September 12, 2020 to: “Free Roof Contest” 13325 Sylvestre Drive, Windsor ON, N8N 2L9.
- Where applicable, Contest Sponsor reserves the right to publicly award the Prizes.
- Prior to claiming a prize, claimant must correctly answer a mathematical, skill-testing question along with the prize claim form.
- All winners will be contacted by DS60 and provided with a Prize Claim Form. This form must be filled out to claim a prize.
